Brief History
Bodega Cerro del Toro, owned by the Kambara family, in partnership with Lars T Ugland, a Norwegian shipping executive, it’s a Uruguayan wine project born in 2016 with the objective of producing high-quality wines in a privileged location on the Maldonado coast.
It’s located in Piriápolis, on the northeast slope of Cerro del Toro, in a field of 800 hectares, of which 28 are currently in production.
The winery develops varietal and blended wines, with the aim of expressing its true Atlantic character.
