Growing Conditions

From the NORTH 14 and NORTH 15 vineyard plots, located on a rocky slope facing west, and just three kilometers from the sea. With a loamy clay texture, gravel and different types of decomposing metamorphic rock are found in the soils of this petit verdot, a product of the Sierra de Ánimas geological formation. The petit verdot squares coexist with native mountain shrub vegetation, and a mountain of Coronilla trees.

Palate

This red with great fruit expression was not aged in oak and the grapes matured in a plot surrounded by native bush. With a robust body, it has a refreshing journey due to its exquisite natural acidity and ripe tannins.

Harvest

The grapes were harvested on the night of March 11, 2020.

An excellent harvest surprised us with this first Petit Verdot of young but vigorous plants that quickly adapted to the maritime microclimate.
